COPA LATINA DE ATLANTA
June 6, 2010
JM Tull-Gwinnett Family YMCA
  • The LAA's first annual Copa Latinal will feature a soccer tournament and family fiesta. Participants will enjoy a day of recreational activities that will promote wellness, strengthen family ties and enhance the community.
  • Activities, for both children and adults will include: relay races, soccer clinics, sports activities, arts and crafts, face painting, food vendors, moon walks and much more!
  • Soccer tournament for adults open to the community at large will serve as an exciting kick-off the the 2010 World Cup. Approximately 40 teams will participate in 3 divisions.



ATLANTA INTERNATIONAL SOCCER FEST
June 11 to July 11, 2010
  • Atlanta International Soccer Fest Tournament on Saturday, June 11, 2010 A round robin soccer tournament featuring adult teams (age 20+) currently being formed by Atlanta-area chambers of commerce, consulates and organizations.
  • 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Viewing Parties from Monday, June 13 to Saturday, July 10, 2010 In premier venues across the city, we will be hosting official 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa viewing parties. Venues will  have special “Soccer Fest” specials with drinks, appetizers and entrees. If you purchase the “Soccer Fest” special, 15% of its proceeds will benefit SOS Children’s Villages, so be sure to ask for the Soccer Fest Special!
  • Final Game Festival on Sunday, July 11, 2010The final game of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa has to be viewed in an international festival atmosphere! We will be coming together with the city of Atlanta at a large outdoor venue to celebrate soccer, enjoy a wide variety of international cuisines and watch the Final Game on big screens. The event will take place from 11am-8pm. The game shows at 2:30pm.

CABBAGETOWN FESTIVAL AND PARTY
June 12, 2010
  • Neighborhood Festival for families and all soccer fans. Watch the opening day World Cup games on screens in Cabbagetown Park. Kids activities are planned throughout the day. Relax and enjoy the vendors, food merchants and more. Enjoy the opening day of the World Cup with soccer fans at the Cabbagetown Festival.

  • The KidZone Soccerfest will be lots of fun. Test your soccer skills as you juggle around cones or see how fast you really are as you race around the soccer obstacle course. There will be face painting, a moon walk and lots of other activities for kids of all ages.
